For many years, people have killed, slain, destroyed and vanquished orcs, goblins and necromancers that have invaded their lands. Enough is enough and it is time for an invasion of their homelands, let’s see how they like it!

But wait, they are talking about invading your home? In this tower-defense game, you are defending your goblin village against the invading so called forces of good. With their weapons, magic and weirdly trained animals they will try to crush you. It is time to take control of your defenses and counter their attacks at crucial steps. With the help of orcs, goblins, vampire sorcerers and some “borrowed” gnome engineering it is time to show those humans you are more than capable of being on the defensive if necessary.

In this rogue-like tower defense, you decide how your defensive campaign turns out. Start with a standard deck of cards with basic towers and powers. Build up your deck according to your own strategy, boosting your deck with boosts and upgrades throughout levels and the campaign. Bargain with witches for more power, sacrifice towers and choose where you defend. Not only is there a wide variety of strategies available to players, which shapes a run. Since the player chooses which route to take in their campaign, each experience is unique. Choosing harder levels provides greater rewards, whereas searching for a shop or random events might provide similar boosts but at higher resource costs.

Controls:

The whole game is controlled with the mouse and can be paused using "esc" When placing towers or spells, right click to cancel the placement.

Known bugs:

  • Sometimes the reward screen cant be closed after picking card and perk.
  • Some layering issues - enemies clipping weirdly
  • Tutorial deck seems to not count cards properly some times.
  • Game Over overlay does not always appear.
  • Perks sometimes count double.
  • Various bugs relating to enemy spawning.
    • If you experience enemies not spawning, you click in the bottom left corner of the screen, you enable "debug mode" and can force a round win to continue

The game screen is too big, a full third of it is unfortunately sticking out of the edges of my screen :(
